December 1 - 31, 2021
This year in the month of December we are collecting money for some specific needs both in our church and in our city through an initiative called “The December Fund” which will run from December 1 - 31.
The December Fund will focus on raising $5,000 for some specific needs. Below is an estimated breakdown of how the $5,000 goal will impact our ministry and needs in our city:
Middle School - $1000 - We are looking to launch a brand new Middle School ministry! Gifts will go to supplies for what we need as we create spaces for Middle Schoolers to connect, have fun, and encounter Jesus together.
City Ministry - $2500 - We're looking to more actively serve and impact a school and neighborhood this 2022 calendar year. Help empower our church to be the hands and feet of Jesus as we meet local needs in the name of Jesus. Gifts will go toward the needs we discern and help meet as we build relationship in a neighborhood in 2022.
Mental Health Ministry - $500 - Help us to have resources on hand to minister to people in and outside of our church as they walk into mental health. Gifts will go primarily to workbooks from the Mental Health Grace Allicance to assist people in their mental health journey through a support group called “Grace Groups”.
Firstfruits Giving - $1,000 - Our desire as a church is to give “firstfruits” from everything that we receive through giving. In light of that, our desire is to give $1,000 of The December Fund to other churches and ministries in Fullerton.
Giving Above and Beyond - Anything received above and beyond our $5,000 goal help us reach our $360,000 annual budget goal for our 2021-22 Fiscal Year and will help us achieve new ministry initiatives and projects planned for 2022. Additionally, 20% of everything beyond our goal will be contributed to other churches and ministries in Fullerton as a firstfruits offering.
